The Presence of Impacted Teeth (Except for Wisdom Teeth) in Orthodontic Patients in Israel

The research objectives were to determine the prevalence of impacted teeth in orthodontic patients Israel, examining epidemiological and genetic linkage. Methods: Data was collected from cohort treated Tel-Aviv University between 2010–2017. Forty-five for randomly selected, compared 45 control patients, paired by age sex. Collected data included: week birth, type medical history, dental anomalies, treatment referee, chief complaint, modalities duration. Results: periodic 11.9%. There a statistical tendency birth (earlier more caesarean sections study group). Statistical significance found systemic disease, referee Dental anomalies patient or first-degree relatives odds ratio presence an tooth up 6 times higher.
